U4GM Guide to FH6 Space Port Location

The #AstroToy Photo Challenge is one of those little tasks that looks vague at first, then takes about two minutes once you know the map. It asks you to bring a Track Toy to the Space Port and take a photo there, which sounds simple enough, but the game doesn't exactly hold your hand. If you've been spending your time clearing races, tuning cars, or saving FH6 Credits for something flashier, you might've driven past the place without really clocking it. The good news is that the Space Port is a big, obvious landmark once you're in the right region, and you don't need a rare car or a huge budget to finish the challenge.

Where to Find the Space Port

The Space Port is in the southern part of Nangan, down toward the bottom-left side of the world map. Look for the Irokawa Space Center area, then use the nearby drag strip as your main clue. The Irokawa Space Center Drag Strip runs close to the coast as a long straight road, so it's pretty hard to miss when you zoom in on the map. From that drag strip, head north and you'll come across the Space Port complex. You'll know you're in the right place when the scenery starts looking less like a normal road network and more like a high-tech launch facility, with wide roads, large buildings, and plenty of open space for taking clean photos.

What the Challenge Actually Wants

To complete #AstroToy, you need a car that belongs to the Track Toy category. Not a hypercar that feels track-ready. Not something you tuned yourself to be quick around corners. The category has to say Track Toy in the game's own classification. Once you're driving one, go to the Space Port, open Photo Mode, frame the car somewhere inside the location, and take the shot. You don't need a perfect angle or a dramatic sunset. The game is checking the car type and the location more than your photography skills. If it doesn't pop after the photo, don't panic. Back out, check the car category, move a little deeper into the Space Port area, and try another shot.

Choosing the Right Car Without Wasting Credits

Before you buy anything, check your garage first. Open your car collection or garage filters and sort by vehicle type, then select Track Toy. A lot of players already own one from Wheelspins, seasonal rewards, or earlier progress without realising it. If you do need to buy one, there are cheaper choices that do the job perfectly well. Cars like the 2017 Mazda MX-5 CUP, the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, and the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE are all sensible picks because they're affordable and clearly fit the requirement. You're not trying to win a championship here. You're just getting to the landmark and taking a photo, so there's no need to empty your balance on something extreme.

The Mistake That Catches Players Out

The most common slip-up is using an Extreme Track Toy instead of a regular Track Toy. It's easy to see why it happens. The names sound close, and the faster, more expensive car feels like it should count. It won't. For this challenge, the game treats those categories as separate things, so an Extreme Track Toy can sit right in front of the Space Port and still fail the requirement. Always check the exact car type before you leave the Autoshow or switch vehicles from your garage. It saves you a trip, and it saves you from that annoying moment where you take three photos and still get no completion message.

Final Thoughts

The Space Port is one of the better photo spots in Forza Horizon 6, and this challenge gives you a good excuse to revisit it. Head to southern Nangan, find the Irokawa Space Center Drag Strip, drive north to the Space Port, and make sure you're in a proper Track Toy before opening Photo Mode. The reward is the "Beam Me Up!" Forza Link phrase, which is a small cosmetic unlock, but still a neat one for players who like collecting everything. While you're there, it's worth grabbing nearby roads, boards, or photo objectives too. And if you're building out your garage for future challenges, keeping some cheap FH6 Credits on hand can make these quick seasonal tasks much less of a scramble.
